al4x
You learn something every day, today I learned with regard to the Open General License with regard to Paraketes and Canada Geese you don't have to use other techniques to scare them before you can resort to shooting them unlike other species on the list. Just another useful fact to bear in mind if you're staying the right side of the law.
Blackbart
Another interesting fact is the only 2 animals that can see behind themselves without turning their head is a parrot and a rabbit. Maybe that is why there is so many of them ?

I was told when i rang basc that we had to exhaust all other methods of scaring before pulling the trigger at canadas this was beginning of the year..has it been changed since then?? You do not have to USE other techniques for anything on the OGL, you only have to satisfy yourself that techniques other than shooting are/will be either ineffective or impracticable. But yes, you are correct to say that you don't even need to do that for non-natives.
