Where do you shoot your pigeons ? Cheers AndyCM

Slug
I don't do Pigeons but practical, if your serious about practical the M2 is the leading gun in that area as it is is inertia recoil reloaded as opposed to being a gas gun, nowt wrong with gas guns BTW the Extrema is a quality gun as is the Winny X3, but they need more TLC if you in London PM if you want to handle the M2. S I have this as well,12 shot, with the ext handle (luxury),I'm just gonna have the feed plate done so it don't catch my thumb! Apart from this fine review above,I can only add that I use it for clays, target, practical, and decoying, and for rabbit on occasion. Its light as hell and u need not clean it as often as a gas op. And it never jams.
Slug
Yet get the C-Rums carrier done Running man, best $70 your ever spend or you can get the bit welded in of course but a bit of hassle, Jeff at C-Rums is a top bloke
Breastman
+1 for the M2, great guns! That said Extrema 2's are supposed to be the dogs danglies too. As they're both about the same price its a decision i'd not to like to make. I went with the M2 just because its easier to clean and weighs less - something to take into account if you're slapping on a mag extension Mark

Shame ure not nearer ide let u try it out.
Kes
Hi silverhawk. No experience of either guns but bought an Extrema when they first came out. I didnt think they could improve it, apparentlty they have. My first 2 sets of three shots with the Extrema resulted in 3 canadas and 3 greylags. I'm a bit biased obviously and could not recommend the Beretta more highly as a field gun.
hamster123
forget the m2 and get a vinci.....
wildfowler.250
Extrema 2 is a good gun would probably go for a 26 barrel (personally) if I was doing a lot of hide shooting. If not 28inch. Saying that I usually use my over and under for pigeons and the semi for wildfowling No experience of the Benellis
stevew
I have an Xtrema 2 on FAC, black synthetic, 26" barrel can't fault it. I looked at the Benelli first, seemed too short in the stock and didn't 'feel' right. Nordic Components do magazine extensions up to 12-shot (I think they're the same as the Benelli ones) and bolt handle extensions are available (Midway) for the Xtrema 2. Cracking gun mainly used in a the hide, highly recommended.
