Magwitch Posted October 31, 2010 Report Share Posted October 31, 2010 Our last few pugging trips have been hard work, mostly digging to rabbits that simply will not bolt and would rather fight it out bare knuckle with Gunga Din (a brute of a ferret i bred this year). Anyway yesterday saw us ferreting a hedgerow that we would normally turn our noses up at, thick, overgrow and full of brambles. but as rabbits are a bit thin on the ground this season we gave it ago. The ferrets worked well all day from one end of the hedgerow to the other pushing the rabbits out of the man made haven, a sandwich of rabbit proof fencing, hedgerow and sheep netting.....................24 good healthy rabbits and 3 cream crackered ferrets.
