When i was younger my dad used to make his own penertration lube, out of a fair mixture of stuffs and it was brilliant. I know deisel went into it but cannot remember the recipe further. mick miller Posted October 31, 2010 Report Share Posted October 31, 2010 I think KROIL is just about the best penetrating oil I've ever come across, the added benefit is that you can use it when running a barrel in on your rifle too and mixed with shooters choice it makes a superb barrel cleaning fluid.
