HoTsHoT-10
i am going to purchase a new air rifle and not sure what to get. I have narrowed it do to two rifles, the falcon prairie bs sporter stock beech and the air arms s400 beech. Have handled both and felt very nice in my opinion the falcon looks slightly better but there is not much about them on the this forum were as there is alot about the s400 and seems very good. Have read some reviews on the falcon and also seems to be a good rifle. Do any of you own a s400/prairie if so what are they like in your honest opinion because I read that some magazine reviews are occasionally bias . Also should i reconsider any other rifles such as the bsa scorpion or ultra ? my budget is about £350-£400 but may be more if my quad sells for a good price . Any advice would be gratefully accepted. Dekers
They are of course different guns, but AA and Falcon are BOTH owned by NSP Engineering in Sussex and trade from the same address. Engineering and technology is shared, and in time I suspect the guns will become more similar. Anyway, both are good, I would go with the Falcon but I suspect most may suggest the AA. HoTsHoT-10
Thinking of buying the Rowan Engineering magazine system for £58.95 if i have any money left over. Are they any good or is it better to buy a multi shot air rifle ?

FalconFN
Rowan multishot conversion works well and is very well made but you have to manualy turn the magazine each time. I have a Falcon (with the Rowan conversion) and they are very good and very accurate but what ever you decide to get it will be a great rifle. hoTshoT-16
try and save up and get the s410 as bullet boy said i have also been told that this rifle is quality in the field and on the range also the beech falcon looks very nice and is a good alternative from the s410
Requoil
I'd go with the Falcon every time. great accuracy, ease of maintenence, and after sales support by Falcon is second to none (yes, know they are part of the same group now, but when you phone for help, Chris will always give very good support)
