Tam Posted November 9, 2010 Report Share Posted November 9, 2010 Keen frost on Saturday morning as I headed for the Foreshore but as I got closer the fog was settling on the river this can either be good or bad I was hopping that the Geese would fly low off the river as the visibility was poor but as the sun rose most had managed to lift clear & out of range all was not lost as a small flight of Teal screamed out the fog - swung round & pulled the trigger as the gun was shouldered with enough lead on the closest bird :blink: it had just crossed the river when I fired & tumbled a fair bit behind - Bracken saw me shouldering my gun & marked it perfectly Not much but I was pleased with the shot & from the picture you can see he was pleased as punch with his retrieve :oops: Another two on the flight ponds that night made a tasty meal Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
