If you look at the " Antler processed " posting where i show the inserts you will see a small battery operated "Dremel " and some cutters this is what i used to cut in the pictures . On the coronet ( pigeon )i coated this with clear nail varnish (the wifes not mine i hasten to say ) on the rest of the stick i used thinned down yatch varnish , several coats .
