tyres

Kumho tyres are OK - I've often fitted them as one of the cheaper options, but never used their off-road varieties.

I bought a couple of "Infinity" tyres off fleabay for the Jimny, and those have a decent chunky tread which also performs well on-road. From memory, they were £100 for a pair delivered. Paid the local garage £15 to fit them for me.

They're doing well, and i've been in a couple of really boggy fields with them so far, and managed to get out again :good:

I don't know about their road or AT tyres but the Kumho Road Venture MTs are what we have on our fourtrak and they seem pretty popular among farmers around here for their off road run arounds too. Off road it's hard to see how you can get a better tyre unless you start looking at cleats but yet on road they are remarkably quiet. Our only concern was how long they will last considering we're more on road more than off but they are now over 12months old (not that we or the previous owner have done mega road miles in it) but they are still looking like brand new . When we bought the truck we planned to get a second set of wheels to put some ATs or road tyres on but given how good the tyres are, how well they've lasted and the price to replace them we haven't bothered. I got no doubt that they will come into their own when the snow and ice hits and when they eventually wear out (which is going to take a while) we'll be buying another identical set.
