Kes
Gentlemen, I have read a few books written by countrymen and game keepers and really enjoy the time at Christmas to reflect on such books. I have acquired all Norman Mursell's books and a few others besides. If you had to recommend a shooting/country book, which would it be - and why would it be your choice? (looking for really good christmas presents) Cheers

blindasabat
Kenzie,The Wildgoose Man.Excellent read and some lifestory. i will second the comments about kenzie.ihad that book for 30 years.my mate just returned it after borrowing it years ago.my mate went on his first goose shoot with kenzie when he was a young lad.he got a right ####ing off kenzie for shooting too early and spooking the geese.(a lesson that put him in good stead for the rest of his shooting life).he is 65 now and remembers that day as if it was yesterday.
