spiceychilli57
Ive been offered the change to buy a 12g o/u single trigger ejector, from the side of the action it looks like its spanish and the name 'Zapata' or simmular written on the side Has anybody heard of these or had any experience with them? the guy is looking for me to make an offer but havent really got a clue where to start with it, he's a good friend so dont want to offer something too low but it needs a bit of work as opening it is really stiff and the trigger is quite heavy plus the stock needs lengthening Any ideas? Spicer GENERALISATION! Up to and through the 70's/80's etc Spanish guns were pretty common in the UK and offered good VFM where people were a bit short on buying Italian. It seems Turkish guns have now taken over the mantle of cheap guns and not so many Spanish about. Spain made/make some very acceptable guns, but who knows what you have?! Spicer Buy a gun that fits...unless its a bargain you would probably be better getting a gun that fits from day one and doesnt need work doing and adjusting it may just need a good strip and clean £50 at local gunsmith, or a lot mnore.... Psyxologos
Zabala. I recently bought a used s/s 12g 3 1/2in chamber and is great. It cycles any cartridge I put through it, no problems.
