Pigeon on rape in Warrington

i was driving back to Kent on Sunday Morning after a weekend with the family in Liverpool. As i came off the M62 onto the M6 the fields to the left were blue with Pigeon.

Drove home wishing i had permission on those fields ..... 4 hours is a lot of wishing

I'm pretty sure someone on here has those fields. I recall a similar post last season.

 

Perhaps they go to church on Sunday mornings

them fields belong to edward hornby;we used to shoot on that farm but somebody pays for the shooting now also he has bought some more land off a retiring farmer we have shot over for 30 years and refuses to let us carry on shooting on that land so still wishing you had permission on there ..enough said

I drive past those fields every day going to work, and again coming home, the amount of times I have nearly run up the **** of the car in front whilst watching pigeons. I was once looking at a bloke with a rotary near the pylon, whan I had to anchor up, stopped thousands of an inch from the car in front.

I can just imagine the claims form;

 

Whilst proceeding south on the M6 counting pigeons, the person in the car in front had the audaicity to stop !!

i have a farm in the same position. I work with the farmer for pollunation of crops, have keys to all the gates and buildings yet wont allow me to shot on the rape when the woodies are hammerin it, As a well known pigeon shooting club have the rights yet they only shot it about 6 times a year ! the farmer is now putting bangers out to keep the woodies off.

Flock i saw was about 400 plus i reckon .....

there were birds lifting off and dropping in ..... EVERYWHERE.

Yep shooting rights owned by a syndicate now got a mate who flys hawks on there still though, and have some permision a stones throw away so get some shooting on the flight path between my rape and there!
