A good friend of myne has been shooting an s410 for the last 6months now and has been getting some good results

he has just bought himself a new car and his insurance has gone up a good bit so he wants to sell the s410 and get something cheaper but with the same sort of power

i dont know much about airguns but i am assuming that a single shot would be cheaper than a multishot? He doesnt mind if it is single or multi shot

So the gun must be...

.177

PCP

as powerful as the s410 (.177)

as accurate as possible

and his budget is £300

but would like to save a smuch as possible

what choices has he got?

he will be keeping the stirrup pump and bottle he has already got but would like the new gun to have a silencer and preferably a half decent scope

Thanks in advance :good:

If he's just swapping (via buying and selling) an S410 for an S400, how much is he saving to pay the difference on his car insurance@

Seems a bit mad to me.

If it's 60-100 quid I'd be surprised.

Shop around on the car insurance :good:

he has shopped around, and got the best deal he can

every penny counts at this time of year and getting £60 cash would make it easier for him.

He isnt fussed about having a brand new gun thats multishot as he will only end up scratching it and devaluing it

He bought the s410 when he got a bonus from work and regrets not saving a few quid, but he got £450 for it, so if he spend his budget of 300, he will have 150 to go towards car insurance

I see the problem. It's a shame when we have to make these sacrifices

All the best to your friend and good luck.
