busdennis
hi all next year i will be looking to get a labrador pup after getting permission from "her who as to be obeyed". but one of the conditions is that it will be on the smaller side of the breed standard. anybody got a small lab that i can start researching kennel names etc to try and improve my chances of getting a small lab. im sure somebody will recommend a spaniel but i already have 2. fancy a lab next

Aled
I'm not going to pretend that i am in any way an expert in this area, so please accept the following in the spirit of our sport. Many years ago we had a small lab of good working stock, his kennel names were, Sandylands and Sandringham. A neighbour also had a similar stamp of lab again with Sandringham in the breeding. Finally a friend of mine mentioned that he'd had a small Drakeshead lab. Don't know if this is of use, but let me know how you get on as i plan to look for the same in 2 years. Cheers Aled
AlistairB
Both mine are quite small, i prefer them that way. I'll look up the lines for you when i get home if you want. AB
