TJ91
Hi all I guess its a normal thing for us shooters to get carried away in the shops and buy things we really shouldnt i had got some cash out of the bank this morning to go finish my christmas shopping I have just returned home with a brand new s400 in .177 flavour I only popped in to get a slab of carts and left 452+quid lighter Did i get a good deal...i arent up on airguns but i thought it sounded good I got the new lightweight one with ambidextrous stock in a greeny colour he threw in a buffalo slip, a tin of AA pellets a new deben silencer and a cheapish hawke scope all for £452 is that a good buy? I really am smitten with it, its soooo light and really looks good to me cant wait to get out and have a go I have cancelled the xmas shopping, the family will have to make do with the little presents i already got...will make it up to them on ther birthdays :( having to sell it...was fun to use on the couple of outings i did get Edited January 4, 2011 by TJ91
Canis
How many conversations between shooters start " i'd just popped in for a slab of cart's" and end expensive
UKPoacher
There is a quick and easy cure for your S400 fever. Pick up a Weihrauch HW100. That'll cure you Just realised; you are from Yorkshire. We Tykes are not usually known for impulse buying or parting with cash for that matter. Get yourself to the doctors quick before you start acting even more irrationally; tipping carol singers, etc Edited December 23, 2010 by UKPoacher

vampire
Dont worry about xmas its the thought that counts ,and you have your self a fine rifle there especially in .177,you are gonna be surprised by what it can do,zero it at 40 yrds, use rws pellets and learn your ranges and you will clear up come spring, even though i have my fac and shotguns i still miss my AA s410 .177,it got me loads of rabbits out on the paddocks.
