On my fac it has the following conditions;

.22lr & .17hmr,ground dwelling vermin on land as approved by chief police

.223,fox and other lawfull quary,as above

22 air rifle,no conditions at all,does this mean that i can use the fac air rifle anywhere

Never heard of that, every tool will have it's uses listed....except when someone throws a wobbly or decides to invent something, this is a new one to me and probably some sort of C**k up, I suggest a word is in order as others have suggested!

It has become usual to mark (open / experianced) on certificates in my area or (closed / novice) it is quite possible your air slot is open but the onus is on you to check.

If you have a firearm on your ticket with no conditions for use, then you can't use it. get it sorted, they've screwed up.
