davecooper1 Posted January 1, 2011 Report Share Posted January 1, 2011 My brother has been looking for a springer spaniel bitch for last couple months, hard to come by. We went yesterday to look at a fully trained bitch, and what a nice looking little dog it was. He then took us to a nearby permission of his for a demo, the dog was absolute brilliant to watch, bombproof I would say. After a couple of hours of walking, 2 pheasants and 3 woodpigeon, all retreived perfectly, it was make your mind up time. Haveing looked at a few in the past, decided this was the dog we had been looking for, so after a bit of bartering we managed to get 250 pounds knocked off the asking price, cracking little bitch for a good price. Tom Tom the dog is 4yr old. We went out today, and she worked her little socks off, she really bonded with my dog and they worked well as a pair. Just needs to bond a bit more with our kid, and hes cracked it, he was well pleased with its first outing. Forgot to get some pictures though. Dave.
