ernyha
This subject has been covered extensivly recently and everyone seems to have their own favourites. This is very much a case of use the size that you feel happier with. My favourite size and that of many is No 6. Cartridge i use most is Express Pigeon Special 30 grams of No 6 shot. BTMS
I use No6 shot 32 gramm pidgeon special. When I hit (Not very often getting slow) they drop.
Cranfield
I normally use Gamebore Clear Pigeon, 30gm, felt wad, No6 shot. But, I have been trying out a custom load, 32gm, No5 1/2 shot. I could be converted, as this is a very clean kill cartridge, especially on high birds.
BTMS
these sound impresive where u get them from?
Cranfield
Country Way Gunshop, West Malling in Kent. That probably doesn,t help very much, unless you are "local". They are having them made to their own specification by (I think), Lyalvale Limited.

supergame
Cranfield it sounds like the load you have found will shoot very much like the Express Super Game cartridge. I have used these for some time and can honestly say they are the best load I have ever shot. I have used them in 5 shot and have dropped pigeons from ridiculous heights fairly consistently and they are usually very dead. I think I can safely say they are equal to winchester Westerns and far lighter on the wallet.
Pigeon Hunter
I started off using a box of cheepys but have found that the more you spend it usually ends up with a better quality cartridge. But i am going to stick with Hull Cartridge No 6(they are red) they are a lovely cartridge to use(i use them for rabbits as well) Regards Pigeon Hunter
