Hi mate

I joined NPPC (now have 1/2 yr membership)shooting around Darlington & Yarm, just phone and book a field exellent value.I shoot from end of January when syndicate season over and will shoot till Harvest (some times after depending if stubble left). You get a list of crops with grid references just Google earth it to decide best place for hide.then go on recky to check if any action. You have the whole field to yourself(or arrange to shoot with another member then you have 2 areas of the crop covered) just remember to take a flask and the hobnobs.

Got to say there are still lots of farms out there, that will take people in

Today I just picked up some roost shooting on weekends with a group of farmers and I am more than confident a couple of trips there will lead to more shooting.

1hr out in the car 3 knock backs 1 maybe and some shooting, its there to be had :good:

hi tom well done mate :good: if you ever need a hand let me know,:friends:

no joy at this shiremoor farm.so i get there and knock on what i think is the farm house,a little old lady comes to the door ah sorry this isnt the farm and ive no idea where the farmer lives,ok so i see a pub in the village, bound to find out here.so i ask landlord,he says what do you want the farmer for,so i says to ask if i can shoot on his land,er no idea goodbye.so i see a riding school near by,ok lets ask there.hi can you tell me where the farmer/landowner lives, why what do you want,so i told her,so she says you cant shoot round here its a residential area im a ex police officer,so i says well thats good cos you will know that its legal as long as your a certain distance away from residential area and you have permission.nooooo she says we dont want guns round here, she was the type you wouldnt say hello to on a lonely day.so thats the end i have no transport and that was the only place near me that was any good for hunting.
