hitman
spent all morning yesterday chopping down some old covercrop (sweetcorn) making sure plenty of the yellow stuff was on show, set up this morning at first light and finished at about 3.30 when the place literally died. i had a 3 arm rotor and 20 flock shells out to start with but replaced the shells as i got fresh birds, finished up with 87 in the bag for 130 shells so i am like a dog with 2 cocks at the moment . shant get back now till the weekend but hoping they are hanging on for me (lol) :o

old rooster
no mate but its been snowing this afternoon but not enough to cover anything ,just think it was right place right time . You were on just the right field for the time of year. Cut cover crops particularly maize makes for excellent shooting !!! Well done, good bag. Cranfield
two hitmen? One is "hitman" and one is "the hitman". Therefore not a complete duplication (which the system does not permit). A good day hitman, swiped cover crop is great stuff.

the hitman
sure thing i get alot of shooting up here, last month was poor but have some early beans going in soon.i have a daughter who loves pigeon shooting, she has no problem picking up shot birds but her sister thinks its terrible. i did some work near grantham awhile back and passed a rape field every day getting hit hard, but the guns were at home, and i dont think the marriott hotel would have approved of my guns in the room, although they might have put the pigeons on the menu.
