Head shots will be fine, shoulder shots a bit unpredictable - sometimes a 10p sized exit hole and little damage, sometimes a lot worse. If you hit one mid body it'll be messy.

 

As above, impact damage from .17hmr is variable, sometimes there is a small hole other times hit the same spot and half the head is missing, either way a headshot does no damage to the edible bit. I`m attempting to get out to the grass field this Tuesday morning, set up a hide along the fence and get them as they pop out, then revisit in the evening.

hello people i liv in margate area and im new to pigeon shooting i was going to give it all up because of not getting any permission to shoot on any land i usually go with friend of mine over some land in aylesham but that is very rare so if any of you need a bit of help or maybe someone to have social with i got my own gun and rottary and decoys im free most weekdays send me message cheers from stuart
