chrispti
The birds have been on maze and other cover crops over the last few weeks (down ere), they are just starting to get back on the rape now. Managed 45 yesterday on rape. Pushed about 200 off of a large strip of cover crop today, so may have a go a decoying that at the end of the week

Mightymariner
Still lots on rape round these parts, haven't seen much drilling yet but when the weather warms up they will be out. Had a call from a farmer I met months ago, and had given up hope he would ever need help, to say the pigeons were starting to hit his rape and would I come for a look. Not expecting too much as the land is devoid of woodland but you never know, and I want to keep in with him so I will be off for a look on Friday. Roost shooting every Saturday now too!
