garyb
Have you bought them as bullets for reloading or as Factory ammo? Edited February 12, 2011 by garyb

I've just bought a few to use in the .223 and some indicators on peformance would be handy I'm expecting great things of them! I can't see them being a lot different to the 50s and 55s in all honesty however some rifles might prefer them to the other weights. I've shot thousands of foxes with the 50 grainers and prefer them to all other bullets on the market, though opinions are like @r5eholes - everyone's got one. Let us know how you get on with them. CZ550Kevlar
I use 40gr VMAX and they are very effective against anything plus they are highly frangible, i have never had a richochet even on my flinty permissions and they take foxes down nicely, 50gr aren`t too different. bk
The BC looks impressive!
inthedark
They're for re loading, main difference is the BC as mentioned and they're boat tailed, I had them shipped in from the good ol' USA, cheap enough. I've been using 55's for years and was reluctant to change my load but after studying many posts on here I'm going off vit 140 to try 133 + others, and figured I might as well go from the ground up. I'm aiming for a variety between 3200 - 3400 fps, but I'm not too fussed about speed as long as they land in the same place. It'll be about 4 weeks before I've loaded and tested, depending on the weather, and I'll post the results unless someone beats me to it Edited February 12, 2011 by inthedark

I've tried 40's a while ago - devastating. Only thing with them is that they come out of the barrel with the brakes on. Also used some 36? gr Barnes fully frangible for a particular job, but I wasn't impressed with them at all. Clever technology though
