welchyd1
I've just got my old Airsporter out of the folks loft to see if its worth spending money on. I always thought it was a Mk2 but I'm not entirely sure. I lent it to a friend who stripped all the paint off and sprayed it grey and green for som reason. A few years ago I got most of the awful paint off but didn't do a very good job. I would like to restore it back to its former glory. Here she is. twitchynik
Check under the barrel where the cocking level is and you'll find the serial number. You can then use that to age it. A quick Google will find the age codes
welchyd1
Its starts with GD or G0 but I'm not sure if the trigger block has been changed at some point. Ah under the barrell you say, I will have a look. There is a serial number on the trigger block too. Time and money to restore this means on a financial basis it is unlikely to be viable. Satisfaction and pride make it another matter!
