nick_c
Hello guys, can someone recommend something to remove the sticky left on the end of my barrel now that I have removed the easyhit bead. Something that will not damage the finish. Thank you, Nick.

BlaserF3
WD40 will normally remove glue residue.

nick_c
WD40 working well, just letting it soak. The plan was to remove the bead, see if my shooting got worse/improved or stayed the same, and put it back on if need be, but, being stuck like poo to a blanket, I managed to break it getting it off. Hoping I do not need another one. Nick.
poorpeet
I tried one as well. The idea makes sense but in practice I found that the glowing dot drew my attention too much. I went back to the standard bead and my shooting improved again. Any one else found this?

petethegeek
Top tip, shamelessly stolen from beretta on here, is to replace the sticky pad on the bottom with a couple of small rare earth magnets. You can then take it on and off at will, as well as use it on other guns. When I took mine off I found that a foam washing up pad moistened with soapy water did the trick. I would be a little reluctant to use WD40 as I have seen it suggested that it can affect the bluing. Oh, and for what it's worth, my shooting is equally rubbish with or without.
