Just wandered if any of you guys are in the NPPC (national pigeon and pest control) ?

In struggling to get permission on land round by me (Staffordshire) and they have quite a lot nearby so was just wandering if any of you are in it and what you think about it?

Lookin forward to your views chaps!

Cheers

Fair enough but I can't afford the petrol or time to do the essential recon the few days before you actually go shooting. Going in 'raw' you're going to have to be extremely lucky to get anything mote than a couple of birds

If you follow the other threads - even them with time to look about aint getting more than a few birds :/

I concur - we aren't seeing many around here either a few smallish flocks, but I can sit in open country for hours with an empty sky (which can be quite nice on a warm, sunny day)

Also it seems that some rape fields are seeing a lot of action and being levelled whilst others are virtually untouched. As per Murphy's law, I have permission on ones that have hardly been chewed.

Time to switch to bunny bashing I think - better check the rimmies zero :P
