I have several friends and acquaintances in the trade and they all say that it costs too much money for the pitch so its not worth doing it. A noticeable number of big names were not there last year. The price of food is astronomical as well. £4 for a lousy burger and £7.50 for greasy fish and chips I go every year as I live very close to the Bath and West Showground but I`m in two minds whether to go this year. blindeye Posted February 16, 2011 Report Share Posted February 16, 2011 went last year as i live quite near to bath and west , wasnt that impressed, very little stock and small . if i had to pay for a ticket i would of wanted my money back .i think i will save my money and wait for the 2 days spent at cla . Spaniel Posted March 14, 2011 Report Share Posted March 14, 2011 I was down there all day yesterday but helping out with the scurries. The dog side of things was very interesting but i had a walk around the show at about 15.30 and to be honest other then chatting to a few guys on the wildfowling stands, i thought it was very disappointing....maybe costs of the pitches are high i dont know but it is going down hill a bit..
