Gordon R
Just bought a Beretta 682E Gold with an adjustable stock. The mechanism consists of three allen screws on the opposite side of the stock to where my cheek rests. They don't appear to be the same as the traditional Browning / Miroku adjusters. Does anyone know how they work, in terms of side to side movement - up and down and locking it in place. I have no wish to damage the mechanism by experimenting. figgy
Gordon just looked on shotgun world dont know how to copy it into post or the link for you but it says the outer two screws are for removing the the comb to adjust the cast the middle screw is to adjust the height this is the memory part of the system as when the comb is removed this setting remains the same the cast is adjusted internally it also says only undo the outer two screws just enough to remove comb dont try to take all the way out as this will damage the comb, hope this helps alb figgy

Gordon R
Just had a go. When I slacken off the two outer, I can adjust height, but the middle one just keeps going round. I don't want to turn it too much. Are you supposed to take the comb off to adjust cast?
figgy
Yes Gordon comb off to adjust cast inside the stock Figgy
Gordon R
How do you get it off?
BigG
Once the two outer screws are loose should simply pull off, would suggest tightening up the middle one.
Gordon R
Sorted now thanks. Went back to Malmo with it, as I was getting twitchy - the mechanism is too much breakable plastic for my liking. It was the centre screw causing the problem. Can't say I think much of the mechanism by Beretta. Malmo were excellent though - no change there.
