Ferret Master
Hi, I wouldn't be suprised if he wanted the Rabbits sorting out because when he was interviewing the job seekers he was asking if they shoot. I just think he wouldn't want to publically air the fact because it could be bad for buisness. FM
invector
I wonder what kind of fallback arrangements he has with the TV people?
chrisv
"I wonder what kind of fallback arrangements he has with the TV people? " Yes Invector, I wondered the same. I'm glad Martin and Stuart can give some good feedback about his products. I found the last episode a bit frustrating, all I could think was " If you spent a bit of time sorting your **** fencing out, maybe you wouldn't have employ people to spend all day getting the livestock back!" (Two wobbly strands of barbed wire didn't do a very good job of keeping the sheep in.) That's just my cynical side though. I'm glad he's showing that there is an alternative to supermarkets for meat supply and hopefully more people can run commercially viable meat producers before Tesco et al take over the Earth. MC
I would think that most of it is for TV, after all how boring would a TV show be if everything was fine and if it was shown that he was making a fortune. I for one will use him and other local decent food producers, just accross the road from Jimmys is another farm shop which sells Game at reasonable prices. as well as decent fruit and veg. cheers MC
invector
The sort of thing I was thinking of was - make a TV programme and, whatever it costs, we'll underwrite everything and ensure Jimmy is not out of pocket, because we aim to make plenty of profits out of selling the results, worldwide.
