Lord Geordie
Hiya Guys Having a prob with a Rizzini O/U i just bought and was wondering if anyone can offer a bit of info The prob is the bottom barrel keeps misfiring so i stripped it down and found the top lever returning too far and the firing pins get nipped and it causes drag and not striking the primer hard enough. On close inspection the cylinder below the top lever has a small extrusion on the bottom which sits in a slot in the locking mech for the barrels. This extrusion is worn round at the corners and REALLY i need a new part but can't find a supplier. For now i have built up the area with a weld and ground it to shape but i am unsure how long this repair will work for as the welding wire is mild steel not hardened :yp: The Gun is a E Rizzini sideplate sporter and any info on spares availability and sourcing is appreciated Lord Geordie

RossM
A friend of mine bought a Rizzini Sporter recently which developed a miss fire. The dealer made him a new firing pin which solved the problem. I think any good gunsmith should sort it out quite easily.
Lord Geordie
I sent an email to Rizinni to see if they will ship the part. I only need the top lever i managed to get everything working for now with a spot of welding and a tad of grinding to make the pin round again instead of flat. Hopefully they can supply the part. If not i will have to take it to Bagnall and kirkwood and see if they can get the parts for me and repair it. Too nice a gun to leave broke :yp: Lord Geordie

MC
At the east anglian country show there was a guy advertising that he had all spares for Rizzini shotguns. It was Pegasus Firearms, I did pick a card up but haven't got it with me, I should have checked before I started typing this. I will PM you the details Cheers Martin

Lord Geordie
I have Just got am email from Rizzini in Italy and i was told the Serial number did NOT show as one of THEIR guns :o I am puzzled now as they claim they are the ONLY people lawfully allowed to call their gun Rizzini. Can anyone offer any info? It's on a ticket as a Rizzini or Rizinni but i was told Macnab have the same guns It's getting confusing now Here is a pic. If anyone can clarify this i would be greatful and the part in question LG Edited March 14, 2006 by Lord Geordie
