 You want to shoot what? Deer? Pigeons? Crows? Unicorns? With what? Air rifle? Shotgun? .50 cal? Are you going to get the insurance after you get the land? Have you really thought this through? Edited by MM

Come on, He's a newbie, give him a brake.

Baz start by sorting out your insurance, then work out what you want to shoot. It might be worth starting by finding a local club to join. See where you go from there.

Oh the previous question, The BASC membership includes your insurance.

Thanks Alex for the constructive criticism.

For the sarcastic,

I want to shoot rats, rabbit, squirrell, pigeon and crows (I am yet to spot any unicorns in Teesside :P !!!)

I am relatively new to shooting having plinked on allotments as a teenager over 20 yrs ago.

I have got my groupings to about half an inch over 30 yds shooting at targets

I have a BSA Lightning .177 and i will be joining BASC for insurance cover.

Once insurance is in place i will be out next weekend asking landowners for permission(s) if im lucky

Regards

Baz

Baz, don't worry, not everyone is like that.

Good luck with the land hunt.

Have a look at NPPC, pigeon shooting. There is land near you if you joined 

Hes looking for land to use his air rifle on. Don't think NPPC would be of any use to him but keep looking something always turns up :good:
