barrel browner
I do not usually make comments on here about poor service but I am now, so here is the problem one Kemen 0/u in desperate need of a left sided cocking rod no probs with the power of the internet its not too hard to to find the the importers (Mr Meggison at Kelbrooks) thats where the problems begin they will be pleased to sell you a gun but have no interest in helping a Kemen owner even though they are the sole importers in the uk! earlier tonight I emailed a Kemen dealer in Texas he replied in two minutes with a printed list of all the parts I emailed the one I needed and two minutes later he replied saying he thinks he has one at his office in Australia he would check it out and mail it to me, so shame on you Kelbrook you will not be getting my business any time soon, this is why uk gun repairs are so popular customer service is so very important. Gordon R
There is not sufficient detail of your dealings with Kelbrook to judge whether you are right. Did they say they didn't have one? Did they say they refused to get one for you? Did they say they don't sell spares - only guns? Did they say they were not interested? :hmm: I'm a bit surprised. Mr Potter
There is not sufficient detail of your dealings with Kelbrook to judge whether you are right. Did they say they didn't have one? Did they say they refused to get one for you? Did they say they don't sell spares - only guns? Did they say they were not interested? :hmm: I'm a bit surprised. I'm not, That particular gunshop has almost a cult following in the number and type of "un-usual" business practices. :yp: :yp: :yp: On hear say alone I wouldn't buy a gun from there, especially one as fragile as a Kemen. I would buy cartridges as I understand they do a very good rate on 1000+ and the shop used to be quite well stocked with country clothing. The shooting ground is, I assume, still showing some seriously tasty targets. I used to shoot their regular FITASC competitions some years ago (and wish they still held them) but it must be 4 or 5 years since I last shot there. It was a 100 Sportrap which was very good except you could be distracted by birds from adjacent stands. So my observation is, shoot there, buy carts & accesories there but buy a gun at your peril, if it's trouble free OK but if it requires attention, especially under warranty, good luck, you'll need it. Gordon R
Mr Potter - Blaser F3 - Mike - hit the nail on the head. I expressed surprise about the treatment based on the one who seems to be there most of the time. The other - I accept the point. I also agree about the ground - it used to be 100% better 20 years ago, with targets from the far end of the lake and on the moor. Now the lake looks like a large puddle and the traps are too close together. The moor seems to be out of bounds.
BlaserF3
In my humble opinion, Kelbrook seems to be going downhill in the customer relations department due mainly to one individual and his attitude, either way I'm not really bothered as I have not been there this year. I cannot see any reason to go again, which is a pity as Viv does really excellent food.
