Alex C Posted March 2, 2011 Report Share Posted March 2, 2011 Hi chaps I bought a cheap fixed choke lincoln 12g o/u at Newark and just wondered how i would go about finding out which model it was and how old it may be, in case i needed to buy anything for it. clayman Posted March 3, 2011 Report Share Posted March 3, 2011 Std Lincoln's are fixed choke at 1/4 and 3/4. If the model has a plain finish on the action, just etched engraved scene, its a Lincoln Basic. If it has gold trigger, gold embellishments to the action engraving, and oiled wood - its a Premier Gold. Both are mechanically the same, just better wood and more finishing to metal on the P-G.
