Hi All

Went out earlier this week and bought 200 rounds of the afore mentioned rounds (Fed V-Shok) just to put down range

and see if the CZ 452 liked them or not and the answer is most definatley not couldnt put more than 3 rounds in a bull @ 100yds so gave up BUT looking at the spent brass i discovered 28 out of the fifty that i had fired were split just at the neckdown point which I didnt like or consider to be safe has anyone else had the problem of split brass cases and what would your opinion be??

There was a post on the same subject not long ago (cant remember if it was the same manufacturer). Anyway the outcome was that the manufacturer said that as rimfire cases were not designed to be reloaded the brass was not annealed as carefully as with centrefire ammunition so the cases were slightly more brittle. I believe they said it had no effect on performance.

If you have a search you might find the origional thread.
