Dekers
Look for something containing Deltamethrin, Fipronil or Bendiocarb, they all work (and no doubt there are a few others), take care, read the label and do what it says, Bendiocarb is particularly nasty, but it don't half work! Are any of these things in anything you can buy off the shelf?? There are other active ingredients that work, but look at the ant killers "on the shelf" and the odds are the majority will contain one of the above! four-wheel-drive
You have got to find there nest I found that loads of the white powder Ant killer would keep them at bay but you have to find the nest and get rid of it to stop them from breading. I had them in my bedroom I could not sleep knowing that they were there I got quite neurotic about them what a relief when we found there nest and blocked in all the holes so that they could not get in the house again. Sprackles
The little round ant bait stations are what I have used in the past. They feed on the stuff and take it back to the nest, wipes the lot out in days and its available over the counter at Wilkos, B&Q etc etc.
