maverick123
Hello, I am coming up to 21 and my rents have suggested buying a decent gun for me. I want a 20bore O/U with a budget or upto 1800ish quid. Today i went to Trulock and Harris in Fram and picked up some silver pigeon games and the browning equivillant. Just wondering if people think its worth paying the extra for a Silver Pigeon 3 at 1800 or pay 1500 for the Standard Silver Pigeon? I guess they are quite popular, so if any one has any experience id be interested in their opinions? cheers

HDAV
At that price i would also look at Ceaser Guerini (sp?) http://www.guntrader.co.uk/GunsForSale/110203155052004 and Browning cynergy as its a 21st present make sure it's something you'll want to keep and that is a bit special. know nothing about them but http://www.guntrader.co.uk/GunsForSale/100316181845002
Dekers
It's very simple, you get the 111 but you don't pay them £1800, they WILL do you a deal, and if they don't go elseware! Maybe just get them to throw in a slip, cleaning kit, a few boxes of carts, whatever, you can get a deal!
vampire
YHPM ,haggle hard and be prepared to walk, when you have all the deals on the table then and ONLY then do you make a decision
libs
Either will be a solid workhorse and outlive you if you look after it. Although bearing in mind you/your parents will lose 20% of what you pay as soon as you leave the shop it may be better to go for less engraving and more value unless you really like shiney pretty things, like me.
