ack-ack
I'll be watching this one with interest. Got commercial insurance for the first time on a 2wd ranger. Could not get it for less than £600 for love nor money. Was used to giving £135 for my old series III.

Pipmoff
Just insured my new Hilux tried all the on-line stuff and Adrian flux. Privilege who I was with for my transit wanted £1127, ended up going with Swinton who I have my Fourtak with and the Mrs has her car with. Costing £640 with the £40 cash back. When I tried Swinton on-line I had to use the Van insurance and it was nearly £900 when I went into the office it ended up being the cheapest of all the quotes I had by about £15 - £20. MaybeNextTime
By commercial do you mean business use as well? Comes as a freebie on my policy Give LVFrizzell a call. Join the CSMA too if you're able for a little extra discount.
Doc Holliday
I've always found NFU Mutual to be very good on pricing. I have heard from a good friend that insurances are set to rocket this year as the big companies have lost a shed load of money over the last year or so, so it will be interesting to see how mine compares when it comes up. As always we, the consumer, get royally shafted in the name of capitalism and its shareholders
