sussex
Are they cut in half or whole bottles?? Cracking idea They are cut so they taper towards the tail section . Have also cut the bottom so it is flat so that they dont roll around . as for Laquer that wouldnt be the greatest Idea as they would be shiny if I did that :o the pait wont be affected By water anyway as its grey Primer so its water proof and for those Who say Buy them ! Now where's the satisfaction in that
Highlander
An updated variation on the old timers trick with milk bottles. Well done mate even the old major would have been proud of you. Love it when someone figures out a way to make their own and fool woody at the same time. Bit more care & tlc with the spray/brush and you could enter them for artistic merit at your local county show
plexer
Primer ain't waterproof anyone that just primers a car and then drives around with it leaves it out in the rain etc... will find surface rust after a while. Ben
sussex
Thats just because Primer does not seal the Surface its on ( Pourous Paint helps the final coat key in well ) it still shouldnt run if it gets wet
Lee 1991
hi great idea i'm going to try it how exactly do you make them do you cut them to shape tapering away towards the tail and then just spray them or is there any thing else you have to do ?? thanks Lee
