Fuddster
Hi folks. Had a look out yesterday planning on a few hours over some OSR. Suprised to find a drilled field over the boundary from my permission, heaving with birds. Found out whose it was and done a cold call door knock. Not my usual ploy to arrive in camo gear and unshaved but Mr Farmer says go get them shot fella. Return and set up, now 1pm and clouded over with a nice breeze. Shot til 4pm and downed a respectable 50 birds. Today, after much pleading with the wife, I was back out and set up at 1100. Pleased to see birds still feeding on the field. Bagged another 73 birds and one overly curious rook. No pics on the ground just one of the birds now in my garage. Paddy the lab is now comatose at my feet after a large bowl of pasta, gravy and biscuits. Gun used in a 20 bore breda semi using ounce loads of 6. Happy days.....................fuddster
