Went and knocked on a farmers door I used to clay shoot with at a local club years ago. Spoke to him a few months back and I have always asked, and got the usual, leave me your number and ill give you a call if I need anything doing. Went round there again at lunch, had a bit of a joke about it, said just me again, as you can see im persistent, have you had any thoughts on our last chat, he just went, well, I have got a big rabbit problem, I said great, how about I meet you here tonight and we can have a drive round and show me the boundaries? He goes, yep, be great, see you at 5pm.

Met him at 5, we drove round, WOW, what a place, bigger than I thought, and a bonus is half of it backs into my other permission, nearly linking it all together. Its about 500 acres of pasture, woodland and arable crops, and rammed full of bunnies. Woods look great for pigeon shooting too.

Best bit was he said if you dont want to use your truck, my Kawasaki 400cc quad is in the barn, let me know if you want it. He also asked me to wait while he went into his house and came out with 900 winchester subsonic .22 bullets to get me going. Happy days.

Im taking Gonk69 (matt) out on saturday to see if we can bag a few jives.

Keep asking, ive been after this one for years, prob going to be my favourite shoot now. :good:

Also forgot to add, on the drive round he said he also has another 7 farms  , and if I do a good job he will give me those too. Extra good times!!! :P
