wboulter
well I went out for the start of roebuck season, I dont normally get a chance to go this early. I saw a nice buck last night just that little too far I couldnt get on to him, he was in the middle of a large field. I waited all evening hoping he would walk in to mebut he didnt. so this morning I set off in a different place where I had seen a buck a few weeks ago. when I was at the does, I had only been stalking about 15 min when I came across the buck coming through wood, about 70 yrds, so I checked through the bins and straight away could see he was a good un, so up on the sticks with the 3006, I waited for him to turn broad side and took the shot. what a result, well chuffed after a few photos i grolloched him and left him to pick up later. I carried on stalking and didnt see anything for a while, then i came across another very good buck i stood for a while and just watched him. I thought about taking him as well, but decided to let him go as i was more than happy with the one, and anyway he will be there for next time.
