darren m
any good reason why my youngest springer is constantly eating grass or could it just be a habit . shes well fed on skinners duck and rice along with tripe and is regularly wormed bit worried as she struggles to finish her poo properly and i end up pulling the rest of the grass strands from her backside - which aint nice any thoughts
Lewis F
Hi Darren, Mine does the exact same!! It is rather frustrating! I did take Mine to the vet about it and they said it was to do with the grass being sweet. How old is your springer by the way? Thanks

hogey
My lab and springer are the same more like cows than dogs at the minute both my border terriers do and they favour certain types of grass. vet claims its quite normal
WGD
They're all at it just now with the fresh grass being so sweet; not a problem if there's game around but yesterday it was like taking a flock of sheep for a walk
GRamsay
No one really knows why dogs eat grass, most, if not all of them do it,but they know why they eat it
Imperfection
Dogs are omnivores like us and is quite normal.
