Best value second-hand 20 bore?

I've been shooting for the last 5 years and am very happy with my basic model Beretta Silver Pigeon 20 bore. I'm now thinking of getting a second gun to act as a spare (15-year-old son starting to get interested). Will stick with 20 bore but otherwise very flexible. I do a mixture of pigeon shooting and walked-up rough shooting. Ideally don't want to spend more than £600, so am probably looking at second-hand (unless there's some cheap wonder-gun out there I haven't heard of). Any advice gratefully accepted!

I have used a Beretta 687 ( 12) for over 20 years, its been serviced twice in that time and has never let me down, dont put a lot through it mind, maybe 1000 a year average. The AYA number 2 I keep as a back up just does not get used unless I take it through choice.

Cant see why you would need a back up but for your son I would suggest the same gun. My daughter (19) is thinking about shooting a few clays and if so I will out the AYA ( one hell of a bargin for someone, had it since 1978, maybe 5000 through it tops ) and replace with another Beretta 20.

White wing beretta are £700 + used, miroku about the same why not consider upgrading yourself and passing down the current one ? Been looking for one myself for missus and friends but can't find a good one for under £500 I would say if you can go up Market as it will hold it's value well!
