tommy trucker
i got an invite off a friend to go and see if we could get a buck yesterday so of we set late afternoon. the wind was perfect when we got there so we walked upto where he had been seeing them, but nothing was about so we pressed on uptowards a wood. a lone roe was spotted behind a bush but we could not make out wether it was a buck or a doe, so we stalked up along a fence keeping as low to the kesk as ***. its a buck my mate said so i carried on up to a gateway, the roe was now heading into the field . bi-pod out and behind the rifle i went, the buck was now in my sights, my mate gave a little squeak the buck stood proud and presented himself with a perfect broadside stance at 120 yds away. agentle squeeze on the trigger sent the bullet on its way. i saw the spray as the bullet exited and the buck fell to the ground. my 6.5 truly christened. and my new transport - landrover freelander was used to bring him back home simply marvellous Edited April 2, 2006 by tommy trucker

tommy trucker
thanks again people that coke can is there to do a job and it does it well i'm upwardly mobile again now, after my discovery failed its mot, so i hope to get out a little more but it will soon be time for spring drills & some long range bunny's so i guess its time to leave mr & mrs ging to bring up there litter of cubs, as long as they dont cause any problems to the farmers they'll be safe till late autum
