elowarr
We have just come back from a rabbit bashing trip and my friend uses an Ultra he was taking down rabbits cleanly at 30ish yards. shot for shot he matched me with my S410, I am very impressed. neilbe2
I used a friends recently and found it to be a fantastic rifle to shoot and the accuracy was amazing! The down side was, after 40 odd shots a refill was needed. but we was constantly hitting targets so i guess thats what happens! :o
Slipster
As neilb says the down side of the Ultra is when shooting targets you only get 40-45 shots b4 refill But if its hunting then the Ultra is fantastic I use mine when out in the truck as its very short and easy to handle, excellent if your on the move and the build quality is superb Go on give it a go :o
Slipster
Flash have you made your mind up yet I see your looking at the S200 and the Ultra, I shoot both the S200 is probably better for targets as it has no safety catch but can be fitted with the 10 shot mag. the Ultra on the other hand can be loaded ready for shooting and then cocked when needed or loaded and cocked then the safety applied but at this moment im sure is only available in single shot. Hope this helps Slipster
scottk
The ultra's are nice and accurate but a 25 -35 shot capacity is a pain!!! Id pick a 410 over one any day, but you get what you pay for. Had both by the way. scott
BERETTA687
any one know when the multi shot ultra comes out? thanks.
stupidsalmon
They're nice compact PCP's, if its an average scope then i'd try to haggle the price down bit, closer to £260. What scope is it out of interest? Cheers SS
twocore
forget it mate go for a super 10 mk2 instead
SPARKIE
hi all first post if going for the a bsa go for the hornet around same price but will give you 100 full power shots easy i shoot 1 best gun ive ever used only downside is the gun holds 232 bar so will need 300 bar bottle to get full charge and sometimes the diver centre cant charge it that high but very accurate and consistant shot time and time again. the lizard
Hi Flash, Never used one for hunting. But I have shot one belonging to one of the other members at my local rifle Club / range. Very nice, compact, well-balanced rifle. And very accurate. I liked it. Rgds, the Lizard

Chezney
Scott, whatever Ultra you used had a fault. I have a BSA ultra, it will kick out 90 pellets at a constant velocity! And in answer to the initial question "Are they good for hunting"... They are absolutely fantastic. I have been taking down more pests than ever, I cannot fault it at all, its a fantastic gun for the price.
