Every day I look through the sale section and what's really annoying is when a forum member puts something up for sale instead of the interested buyers asking questions there is post after post saying that they are asking too much and it's not worth it, Why? At the end of the day it's down to the seller to ask what they want and if it's too dear and not worth it then it will not sell will it! and they don't need to be told

Those Atcos, the one in the foreground has a Tecumseh 4 stroke engine and the one behind has a Villiers 2 stroke engine. And that is a MK1 Stoic.

Mines a 3" and I use 3" 30g carts the problem I'm having at the moment is that once fired and the spent cart is ejected the next to be chambered sometimes catch on the lip of the bore as if it starts to chamber before the cart is fully up.

Oh mate you gotta dispatch them quicker than that!.

I have had my CZ452 American now for Five years and have put thousands of rounds through it, I have never had any problems chambering rounds of any make, although I do use Eleys all the time now, unlike my friends CZ .22 semi automatic which jams up for a past time but hey! thats a whole new topic

Johns your man He sorted me out with all my gear. -
Here's my 17hmr CZ Varmint with a 6x24x56 nighteater and I find it works very well. I'm risking it putting this pic up because the last time I posted this pic all some people on here could do was take the ****!!!!! and I dare say some small minded people still will. I have changed from the Varmint to the American which is alot lighter.

We stayed about 2mls from Brandon and about 10mls from Dingle a place called Coghlan, it's a fantastic place and everytime I come back to Cornwall I say to the misses " Thats it we are going over there to live" if only . but never mind there's always 2008 . Yes frank there was plenty of the black stuff going around ,not for me I was the driver . Thats me with the Pollack all 14lbs of it, that picture was cropped for the Sea Angler Magazine it doesn't show my mate holding a 12 pounder as well, not bad for shore caught fish. That Undulate Ray was something else the picture doesn't do it justice. I think i can safely say that with a few exeptions it's rates as one of the prettiest fish in our waters.

I have recently changed the wheels on my Car from 16" to 18" the tyres went from 205x50x16 to 215x35x18 to keep the rolling diameter the same as to not affect the gearing and speedo. the only downside is that there is not alot of sidewall and you feel the bumps more and they are easier to kerb plus the tyres are dearer.

What a trip!! The crossing from Swansea to Cork was the worst ever it was that rough that I had a hell of a job holding my Guiness . because we were staying near Dingle we have to do the Swansea - Cork crossing otherwise we would end up driving up through Wales only to drive down Ireland past Cork. Anyway the fishing, We stayed at Clahan which was pretty central for most of the rock and beach marks we wanted to fish. Between the five of us we had Thornback, Undulate, and Sting rays, Pollack, Bass, Mullet, Flounder, Triggerfish, Mackerel, Dogfish, Wrasse, Conger. The best pollack weighed in at just over 10lbs, Bass went to 5lbs , Mullet to 6lbs (mine) The Rays were about the 6-9lb mark but what they lacked in weight they made up for in numbers. All booked up for 2008 Can't wait . I have to go some to beat my best pollack that I caught on the 2003 trip. I will post some pics when i can get them off my camera.

Ok in about two hours I'm off to Southern Ireland for Ten days for some serious rock fishing . not looking forward to the ten and a half hour ferry crossing hope I keep my breakfast down . I don't know if anyone here has been to southern Ireland but the fishing there is fantastic and alot better than here in Cornwall, Three years ago I took the Sea Angler Shimano fish of the month record for a shore caught pollack 14lbs and that was caught in Ireland. Right I have got some last minute packing to do, I will post some piccys when I get back. Oh! I forgot to mention that it's a lads only trip no Wives / Kids Only Fishing and Beer Cheers.

I have some conkers that I picked up a few years ago and put them in a box in the shed, now they have dried out and aged they are as hard as hell! I rekcon if you caught one of these across your knuckles it would make your eyes water

I work for our local council and have to go to the tip at least three times a week, I have spoken to some of the lads who work there and they have told me that the place is crawling in rats and foxes at night. I might ask this week about shooting there but I doubt if they will let me what with insurances and H&E issues. At the moment during working hours there is a man in a sentry box with a shotgun which fires blanks he also flies a rather large hawk to keep the gulls away.

How about this for a stroke of luck. Last August I had to make a delivery at a farmers feed store and while I was there I scribbled an Ad on a piece of scrap paper advertising free vermin control and stuck it to the notice board. Well nearly a year later I get a phone call from a farmer offering me and my shooting buddy a bit of land to shoot over. So we went down to meet him and take a look at this bit of land. 550 acres!!!!! I would have never have dreamed that that piece of scrap paper would come up trumps. If your stuck for somewhere to shoot it's worth putting something up in these places you never know.
