Dynamic85
At the moment, I only hunt with my air rifle, so I only shoot rabbits, pigeons and crows/magpies, all of which I either take the meat off in the field, then leave the remains, crows and magpies, out of the way in the hedgerows. There are ever only a few feathers left on our next visit, so I assume we're keeping the local fox and cat population nicely fed. I was just wondering what you guys do with the foxes and other animals you shoot and don't have a use for. I can imagine burying them would be the way forward but there appears to be lots of pics of foxes on the back of trucks, so where are you guys taking them? Dynamic85
LACS HQ... I've just wasted (or possibly not) an hour of my life thanks to that comment going round youtube and voting down as many of their vids as possible. Any one else want to play as I have to go to work now.
pavman
Farm has a big poo pit used to rot down all organic matter inc Charlie, gets put back on the land..... What Rabbits dont get taken home get left on the field and nature takes care of it very quickly. I dont think dumping in headges is a good idea better in the open to allow a quick recycle
stubby
on a friends permission, the farmer asks for them to be left where they are shot, maybe as a way of seeing that numbers are being hit, on my own areas, I generaly remove stuff that can be eaten by either ourselves, ferrets or dogs, other stuff, carrion, foxes etc either get put in a bin, or the works waste incinerator
