So I'm looking to purchase a Silver Pigeon 1 as the review says they are great value for money.

The question is which one? Sporter or Game?

Most of my shooting will be clays with a bit of game shooting/wildfowling.

Just a thought mate;

Take a look at a Miroku MK70 game or sporter.

Better built guns for the money :yes:

:good:

My Father changed his Beretta for a Miroku. He said the build quality was better. Maybe Beretta are cutting corners?

I fired 50 through it this morning, nothing so far :look:

Do you have a "fleur de lis" or "STEEL SHOT" mark on your SP1 to show it's proofed for magnum loads?

SP1 should have 3" chambers and be proofed for steel. :yes:

Magnet, Coach,

Either of you had rusty oil leaking from the seam on top barrel or under the top barrel where it joins the block?

Interesting. I own the 30" sporter and have had what I would also call rusty oil on the seam at the underside of the chamber of the bottom barrel. I just wiped it off whilst cleaning it and didn't really pay it too much attention.

Should I be? What is this problem you had?
