Tyre sizes

I have the chance of some steel wheels to go on my Land Rover 110. The guy who has them does not know what size tyre went on them.

The inside width where the tyre would sit measures 180mm give or take a few mm at the bottom of the side wall and full width is 205mm. Could someone tell me what size tyre i could put on these wheels?

Also cheap place for BFgoodrich tyres online.

Thanks in advance

they are 7" rims have a look here for a guide to sizes that will fit those rims but you also need the diameter

at a guess they will be 16" and from memory something like 225/75 /16 is a landrover size but no doubt the landy nuts can fill you in more

good luck if you are set on BFG... there apparently aren't any in the UK... after waiting for 2 months, I was starting to push my luck and so settled for Coopers instead. Something to do with new EU regulations on the type of oil used in the manufacture of tyres. The American brands aren't affected by this in their home market so don't seen to be rushing to change meaning they can't send them here!

If you have an idea what is fitted at the moment then you can work out what tyres will give you a similar speedo reading if you are worried.
