gameshooter09
Hello, I have an English S/S 12 bore that's just had a split stock repaired. I was advised to use light load cartridges, I'm aware they do 21gram in 7.5's for clays, yet do they do anything for pigeon (size 6)? Any help will be great. Thanks
Hamster
I think you`ll find 24 gram is about the lightest load you can find with 6 shot in, personally I would suggest you try the same but with 7 shot B) . Simon123
28g is light for some. Same here  Personally i would never go under 28g for use on pigeons Edited June 11, 2011 by Simon123
Cranfield
Its all a question of range and shooting ability. Decoyed pigeons at about 30 yards can be cleanly shot with 24 grms, but I wouldn't use them roost shooting.
