Davy Holt
Hiya, I original went out to try and nail a fox early doors this morning but spotted this buck, he had a limp so thought it would be worth taking it to fill the freezer. I took the shot from 95 yards with the .222 and as I pulled the trigger I realise I hadn't changed from a 50 Grain V-Max to a Soft point, I didnt need to worry as he dropped on the spot with a hit to the heart & lungs I must admit the V-Max seems to have done a better job than the normal soft points even though they ain't a deer bullet. Davy Holt
Thanks I just thought it was a wee bit different, I had already seen a cracking 6 point buck and a normal Spiker but didn't bother with them as I was after the fox.
